When German techno label BPitch put out the debut of 26-year-old pianist/singer Dominique Dillon de Byington in 2011 they turned a lot of heads: this wasn’t their usual brand of lively blips, instead offering colourful ambient house graced with Björk-like vocals. This sequel is a richer, more low-end powered reprise, with ‘You Cover Me’ built around deep climbing chords on de Byington’s signature piano, and ‘Into the Deep’ making oscilloscope shapes on luscious electronic bass.
