Aus Music continue to expand their already formidable catalogue with this smart release from Tom Demac of three smooth yet characterful deep house tracks. ‘Linda’s Theme’ makes wonderful use of a sample of what sounds like a ballroom crooner, allowing the strangeness of this pilfered material to unsettle a simple jack in an intriguing mix. ‘Vocoder’s Revenge’ is a muscly club tool, with harsh mid-range distortions and a thumping kick, but the warped garage vocal cut-ups of ‘Day’s With Poly’ are the producer’s most stylish contribution, completing an excellent EP with a touch of class.
