Swedish house label Local Talk jumped at the chance to put out this twelve by London beat-maker Luke Solomon, who’s delivered an acid-tinged, New York-inspired 130BPM monster for clubbers everywhere to sink their teeth into. In its original format (or ‘Raw & Stripped’ as it’s called here) ‘Lost Channels’ combines chunky bass slabs, crisp drum effects and a piano line that shoots you back to the vintage warehouse scene of twenty years ago. On the flip is a warmer but more hectic Will Maddams mix and a ‘Live Piano’ interpretation, where the stabbing keys face off with manic synthesized saxophone - even the jazz fans will be throwing shapes to this one.
