British indie-rock bank Maximo Park unleash their fresh LP ‘Too Much Information’, their seventh since the landmark 2005 debut ‘A Certain Trigger’. Now separated from Warp Records, the group have teamed up with Daylighting Records in addition to tackling recording and production duties themselves. Here, the group have shifted their focus to more challenging material with ‘Brain Cells’ showcasing a darker, more echoed sound than usual. ‘Get Give Take’ finds the group in frantic in their frantic form with rapid drums, thrashing guitars and expertly committed vocals from frontman Paul Smith leaving us breathless.
