Amsterdam multidisciplinary artist Deniz Omeroglu marks her first appearance on the Music From Memory label under her Loradeniz moniker with a debut LP entitled SUN SHONE. Recorded in the wake of a breakup, Loradeniz applies her graduate studies in composition and sound design as well as her background in DJing to set music to heartbreak in vivid detail. While ambient in theory, pitter-patter rhythms creep into the mix on tracks like ‘Sea Serpent’, until the closing ‘Aftersun’ goes widescreen with warm electronica.
