Lancashire-based musician Andrew Johnson (Hood / Moteer / Remote Viewer) begins his new solo venture as A New Line Related with a debut self-titled LP. The release takes on the form of a carefully constructed structure, borrowing hints of glowing dub techno, lush ambience and progressive krautrock styled excursions. Driving through a minimalistic pulse amongst thick ambient fog ‘Vote Malcom Eden’ is easily assimilated to the Chain Reaction style sound, whereas ‘The Slow Sound Of Your Life’ carries a dusky, Newworldaquarium styled deep house appeal.
