Mysterious producer Lily - who has previously released on Bristol's Idle Hands and Spargel Trax - returns with a cassette for No Corner. It's an album that pulls at the various mutations of house and techno, with decaying drums, eerie atmospheres and dusty tape hiss all amalgamating in varying and unpredictable ways. There's a dubbed out sensibility to the warm, melancholic haze, with smudged effects and ghostly hits of grimey synths and crisp drums buried beneath its smoky layers. An intriguing document from a distinctive new artist.
