This is Musique Concrete pioneer Todd Dockstaders first solo album since the 1960's. Dockstaders previous work as explored on Sub Rosa's incredible Anthologies of music and noise were made using groundbreaking tape manipulation techniques and early forms of sampling. This new recording is made working with frequencies and computer comosition.Unlike the cycle of 1960-65, these pieces no longer rely on interruptions, accumulations and complex acceleration techniques.Instead we have slow, pentetrating pulses that explore every corner with celestial thrills.
