UK techno kingpin James Ruskin continues to push and develop his sound, this time on his own legendary imprint Blueprint with the first EP of 2014 entitled ‘Slit’. On the lead track ‘Slit’, Ruskin turns in a blistering concoction of unrelenting energetic drums coupled with the remains of shattered electronics. Next, ‘Wisdom Of Youth’ extends clouded synth patterns over a pounding double beat whilst ‘Emotion Erode’ closes with a more experimental, abstracted feel.
