Claire Evans and Jona Bechtolt’s synthpop duo return with a third album for DFA, one with plenty of infectious fizz and sparkle. The title track has as much punk bite as it does party vibes: rippling bass signatures and shards of 8-bit synths over which Evans pulls her Annie Lennox poker face, singing of the comedown you get after whole days spent on Snapchat. Technological OD never sounded so succulent.
