The Cure add a victory lap to their momentous return of late with this new Live collection of tracks off 2024’s Songs Of A Lost World LP. Cut from their record release party at the compact (at least by their stadium-sized stature) club Troxy in London this past November, this sessions sees the goth pioneers run through the new album in full and in sequence, showing off the heaving might of a live unit that’s been touring all over the globe of late, while also revealing the tender and gorgeous nature of these songs, which certainly stand among Robert Smith’s greatest compositions of the 21st century, if not among his best bar none.
