Dublin-born, Manchester-based artist Krystal Klear launches his new label Cold Tonic and inaugurates the imprint himself with a heavy two-track release. The label looks to explore the producer’s and a number of select affiliates’ more club-focused material; here ‘Squad’ fits the bill perfectly. Kicking off with an interesting arrangement, the track takes on three different faces, ranging from dark brooding synth patterns to a smooth disco breakdown then finally ending up with the sun coming out on the final uplifting phase. Supporting artwork comes via fellow Manchester-based producer Jon K of Hoya:Hoya fame.
