Anthony Parasole teams up with fellow New Yorker Phill Moffa once more for the seventh release on The Corner, the producer’s Brooklyn-based imprint. Pressure’s title track uses simple elements to deadly effect, with a weighty, throbbing bass being continually pushed further and further into the depths by ticking bomb hi-hats. On the B-side ‘Pitched Black’ impresses itself upon the listener immediately with a huge wash of square wave sirens and energetic burrowing electro synth figures which refuse to stop driving on. An excellent release from a formidable imprint.
