West Yorkshire producer Denaji offers up two choice cuts of relaxed but rhythmic experiments for the Unthank label’s sixth missive, backed with a brilliant DJ Sotoffet remix. ‘Dharma Dharma’ is a heady mixture of whirling organs, Four tet-esque glittering metallic arpeggios, and a tribal House shuffle which seems to unfurl on and on without tiring on the ears. ‘Wuhti’ impresses with more sporadic beats and sumptuous string swells, with DJ Sotoffet concocting a rolling remix which places the component parts of the original in distant echoing chambers and layers a bleary-eyed vocal dead centre.
