Art Yard Records press up on vinyl for the first time four tracks of mesmerising live performances by legendary free jazz maverick Sun Ra recorded in 1966. It's a release that captures Sun Ra and his Arkestra on strong form, particularly on visceral trip 'Space Aura' and the abstractly drifting sounds and sawing strings of 'Song Of the Sparer'. The sound quality is crisp and clean, with some crowd noise punctuating the music at suitable points to create an atmospheric release that captures an incredible group at an incredible time.
