Sunn O))) guitarist Stephen O’Malley makes a return to Editions Mego for the third and final instalment of his cassette trilogy released with the Austrian imprint. ‘Tempstarii DISintergration’ offers five pieces of dark, harrowing guitar drone that have provided the audio backdrop for Gast Bouschet & Nadine Hilbert’s film 'Tempstarii' and their recent 'DISintergration' art exhibition. O’Malley crafts a surreal sense of unease through dark, feedback orientated soundscapes which make for an immersive listen.
