Fatima returns to Eglo with a fifth EP of off-kilter but inventive folk, her last before the long-awaited debut album drops next year. ‘Family’ sets her soul voice to a soft samba tune led by jabbing strings and a glockenspiel melody, over which she sings one-line tributes to her nearest and dearest. Those who’ve followed her since her debut then know that she’s never short of interesting; this latest release is no exception.
