Planningtorock releases the symphonic electro ode to fluid gender-orientation ‘Human Drama’ through the Human Level imprint, backed by brilliantly contrasting remixes from Perera Elsewhere and Paula Temple. The original positions fanfare synths and plucking computer strings in massive reverbs, allowing the crooning synth-pop vocal to cut through beautifully. Perera Elsewhere’s remix is faithful to the spirit of the original, adding fidgety glitches which are nonetheless analogue and worn, but Paula Temple distorts it into a heaving industrial techno mauler which impresses in its tongue-in-cheek machoism.
