Keiren Lomax’s ‘Walk the Walk’ EP gave us two unorthodox bass-heavy house cuts strongly influenced by the producer’s DnB past. That recipe caught the attention of London label Apple Pips who’ve put out this even more exploratory sequel. ‘So Easy’ starts off with a tech house beat that morphs into sleek, uncomplicated 4/4 disco, and then flips over again into a vivid dubstep drop. B-side ‘Cosmic John’ keeps the mood going with a trance loop and monster bass hook that’s nimble enough to fill any dance floor it occupies. As chameleonic and groovy a release as you could hope from the Komon moniker.
