The Emotional Rescue label finishes their long-lost reissue series by licensing a massive 1982 psychedelic dub by the UK post-punk group The Impossible Dreamers. Recorded in the tradition of great studio decadence, The Dreamers famously crammed all 8 members (at the time) into the booth and just went to work jamming on a simple rhythmic motif, eventually piling on mountains of reverb and delay with all hands on the faders. The end result is mad greyscale psychedelic brilliance. Longtime friend-of-the-label NAD adds two remixes here, a first”reversion” that dips the track in even more dub delay and also ‘Riddim Reprise’ that beefs up the drums and heads straight to the dancefloor.
