Two Fold returns to Slime Recordings with a batch of tunes perfectly suited for the label’s 101st release. You’d be hard-pressed to find a producer with a sound more unashamedly celebratory, or who better re-appropriates 90’s house vibes. The title track lays out the template; hazy, atmospheric buildup, a generous dosage of chopped and extended diva vocals, melodic stabs, shuffle and drop for maximum crowd pleasure. Slight deviations to the formula, like the modern RnB sampling on ‘Alone’ and the garage flex on ‘The Truth’ help to mix it up a bit.
