London Records brings us a new spin on an early UK rave era classic with this new Orbital 12” entitled Tonight In Belfast. The Orbital original ‘Belfast’ is a towering slice of breakbeat techno and a key DNA strain in the big beat and big room to come, and David Holmes’ remix stretches things out even further with an extended intro before giving way to gale force kicks. DJ Helen brings an emotional edge on the A side by layering street poet Mike Garry’s spoken word track ‘Tonight’ over Holmes’ remix to beautiful effect.
