Copenhagen label ANYINES looks to stoke the flames of ML Buch’s ascendant rise with this first ever vinyl issue of her 2020 debut LP Skinned. Buch’s Suntub came to some as an out-of-nowhere success we couldn't stop listening to, but those plugged into the ever prescient Copenhagen scene have known of her alchemical blend of analog and midi sounds for quite some time. However, Skinned is not merely a dry run, but a separate revelation altogether. Using the body and its inner machinations as jumping off point, Buch explores intimacy and devotion from an almost chemical level on tracks like ‘I’m A Girl You Can Hold IRL’ and ‘I Feel Like Giving You Things’ with music that uncannily blends pop tropes with left field art.
