After focusing on bass hubs like Germany, France, the US and UK, Rekids’ fifth and final entry in the Us Vs. Them series gathers tracks from an international cast of producers hailing from more exotic parts. Dutch legend Speedy J leads off with ‘Klave’, a throbbing, all-percussion workout. The similarly bass-heavy ‘The Pump’ comes courtesy of Greece’s Nikola Gala. Sweden’s Baeka adds the jazzy, trumpet-laced ‘Right At It’, calling to mind Detroit’s Moodymann. Rekids’ own Nina Kraviz contributes the hypnotic ‘Tanya’, and Veinte Tres wraps with the relentless pound of ‘Serpiente Cosmica’.
