Cult Finnish musician Jaakko Eino Kalevi continues to tread his own path, debuting his otherworldly four track EP ‘Dreamzone’ on Weird World. Kalevi draws from a deep well of influences, boiling down elements of jazz, dub and electronic pop to create a unique blend. Opener 'Memories' is a funk-laced concoction of sweet synth chords and dreamy vocals whilst a Latin influence is felt on pop curveball 'Uu uu uu'. 'No End' carries dub-inflicted bass line amidst a pop haze leaving 'When You Walk Through Them All' to close with an infectious, upbeat disco groove.
