A double album from Bryn Jones' Muslimgauze project now released digitally by Staalplaat. It's a release with an interesting production history - upon its initial release Jones called a halt to the pressings due to a distortion creating in manufacturing on the second disc, leaving it as a highly limited artefact in his catalogue. Musically, it's actually some of his best work - from the deep, minimal bass of extended opening track 'Backsheesh' (Arabic for tipping and charitable giving, but also with connotations of bribery and corruption), to the creeping, faraway quality of 'Arabskin', and the mind-bending sitar on 'Dacoit Of Sin'.
