Sheffield label Central Processing Unit have partially been responsible for a recent renewed interest in electro, and this latest release from the label shows just how that sound can still be fresh and interesting. Irish producer Automatic Tasty throws down a 12" of deep, burrowing grooves, the opening title track an infinite jam of futuristic blips and glossy pads. 'Late Afternoon' is sunnier is tone, moving steadily on a tripping beat, 'Praise Brigade' is riddled with crisp video-game sounds while 'Window Funk' closes the release with a track of taut synthetic textures.
