Nick Cave returns with his stripped down Bad Seeds setup with officially the groups fourth live album recorded in the Los Angeles' KCRW studio. Recorded within a rare close proximity to a writhing audience, the group deliver moving renditions of classics as well as new material from 2013 LP ‘Push The Sky Away’. Cave’s rasping, sorrowful vocals give 'Higgs Boson Blues' a deep authenticity amidst the intimate instrumental blues backdrop. The unit also deliver a powerful rendition of 1986 hit 'Stranger Than Kindness', adapting the piece for the occasion to work as an unplugged version that retains every drop of impact.
