The return of Panoram comes in the form of a full-length album on Edinburgh-based house label Firecracker. Following the stunning white label release 'Accents' in 2012 which came seemingly out of nowhere, distilling a sharp aesthetic of grainy instrumentals and raw, sun-soaked beats, it's a record made up of that same playfulness, from the warm, expansive arpeggios on 'Awake Walk' and the blissful swoon of 'Alone In Hawaii'. It's an album of detail, every sound in some way unexpected but still warmly familiar, making for a release that intrigues and soothes in equal measure. the way 'Foxana' uncurls its layers of fuzzy instrumentation and vocal manipulation, and the way standout moment 'A Replica Of Yourself' stutters and swirls attest to the fact that this is a producer with great skill worth taking note of.
