Legowelt returns to Clone Records’ Jack For Daze series for a new double LP of hardware workouts entitled A Field Guide To The Void. Relishing his patented blend of dancefloor-searing rhythmic intensity and impishly winking humour, the Dutch master is in top form here. While the album title suggests some sort of end of world scenario, Legowelt instead finds a weird kind of peace, whether celebrating lessons learned from prior mistakes as on ‘Come And See Your Misery’ or imagining a more resourceful world without the dance music apparatus with ‘A Million Exoplanets Without DJs’.
