Primal Scream drop another teaser ahead of their forthcoming Come Ahead LP with this white label remix of lead track ‘Love Insurrection’. Tying things back yet again to those heady days of the UK acid house explosion, the Primals tap fellow travellers Black Science Orchestra for two edits here, marking the group’s first recorded efforts in well over two decades. BSO delivers the goods here, adding sumptuous house pianos on the vocal remix, and spine-tingling low end on the dub to great effect.
