Esoteric LA production pair NGUZUNGUZU release an EP on Fade To Mind which is just as bewitching and weird as anything else they have previously done. 'Foam Feathers' opens the record, a quaking piece of dubstep-leaning low-end daubed with peculiar percussive ticks and glacially riffing pads. 'Harp Bell' snaps hauntingly like the ghost of footwork, while 'Break In' is almost grime in its elastic rhythms and plummeting bass. A diverse and immersive record of dark beat work and strange ruminations.
