Fourth Wave press a smart release of bumping house/techno from young Bavarian producer Liebniz on ‘What Matters’. All three tracks bring a bright, airy infectiousness to the staple tools of European techno. The taut funk of the title track strongly recalls Shed, with crisp organ stabs punching holes in jacking percussion, while B-side ‘Bring it Don’t Sing it’ adds lusher synth swathes to the mix on both of its parts.
