Cheltenham label Byrd Out pulls some previously unheard material from The Woodleigh Research Facility vault for this new compilation entitled Vous Du Music. Drawing from a fertile recording period between 2006 and 2007, these tracks from the shadowy experimental electro group show off their ability to twist the familiar into something hard to place and move bodies on the dancefloor in equal measure. The quasi title track ‘Vous Du’ lands somewhere between a remix and a cover of Erick Legrand track of the same name, but Timothy J. Fairplay really turns everything on its head with his synthy psych-rave flip of a flip to close.
