Mattias Ostling returns to his Rolando Simmons moniker, and in turn his longtime label home Analogical Force, for a new EP entitled Terrestrial Ultra-Doula. The Swedish braindance powerhouse is deep in his acid bag here, churning out some delicious slabs of squiggly goodness that could fill a chill out room, a living room, or any other kind of room. The downright soothing ‘Multiharmony (Satyr mix)’ pads its whacking drum machine patter with pillow-y reverb while the sorta eponymous ‘Droopy (Terrestrial Ultra-Doula Mix)’ seems to aim for a similar lane until the rave breaks creep into frame.
