Perhaps Brazil’s most famous voice, Tim Maia released a slew of funk and soul classics on Polydor throughout the 70s. His two rarer LPs on the Seroma label, which have become extremely sought after with DJs and collectors alike, have come with incredibly high price tags for years now. Luaka Bop pay tribute to this amazing singer by assembling some of the highlights of his decade spanning career, picking the upbeat, the downbeat, and the wonderfully psychedelic for this specially packaged compilation.
