Spanish producer Pional initially came to wider attention with a couple of strong releases for John Talabot's Hivern Discs imprint, showcasing a way with sultry, at times vocal led, house music that incorporated influences ranging from the smoother end of techno to post-punk and synth-pop. His first release for Young Turks refines this aesthetic further, producing a set of catchy and tracks fit for the dance-floor but with pop music accessibility. 'Invisible / Amenaza' is a lilting, pulsing track, the off-kilter vocal contrasted with the steady, swinging rhythm and sumptuous pads.
