The latest from infallible Glasgow label Numbers comes from Doc Daneeka who turns in what might be his best release yet. Title track 'Walk On In' is a collaboration with Ratcatcher, a gospel-heavy track, crackling with raw vinyl static and lots of vintage soul. B-side 'Trife Pt. II' is more raw again, a darker piece of deeply rolling house replete with slinky bass and sensuous pools of synthesizer.
