Genres
Colombian producer Sano started out throwing illegal "Perro Negro" parties in his native Medellín, arriving at a dark, salsa-influenced take on slinky dance floor stylings. His self-titled album out on Comeme swings with a steamy pull, but there's grit here too. The grooves are deep but dark, as on the haunting 'Paranoia' and the rough percussion of 'Transilvania No Mercy'. Party music that dances on the edge.
