Pearson Sound is back on his own Hessle Audio for a new EP of soundsystem pressure entitled Which Way Is Up. Pearson Sound takes us on a journey around the world (and back and forth through time) using the tradition of soundsystem culture as a guiding framework here. The buzzing ‘Hornet’ recalls electro both of the 90’s Detroit and 80’s Miami variety, while the constantly descending ‘Twister’ with that distinctly Leeds flow could put holes in the ceiling at Subdub then and now. Deadly.
