George Fitzgerald’s first single for Double Six, an offshoot of indie label Domino sees the producer expanding the lush house he has been making for labels like Hotflush and Aus into a full-on main room anthem. Much in the way that Fitzgerald’s label mentor at Hotflush, Scuba resculpted his sound into a huger, more commercial template with the ‘Adrenalin’ EP, ‘I Can Tell (By the Way You Move)’ seems to herald a new stage in the output of this Berlin-based artist. With stabbing, woozy synths, a luxurious chopped vocal weighed down by foreground kicks throughout, and even complete with a hands-in-the-air breakdown this is a slick production, and comes backed with remixes by Breach and Paul Woodford.
