Former East German Antye Greie would’ve violated every embargo by being a performer/producer/sleeve designer/multi-instrumentalist during her country’s old regime. Today she’s recognised as one of Euro electro-pop’s champions, and moves into frosted fairytales on this new release following a decamp to Finland. ‘Joy Is Boring Too’ takes a dark Norse poem and sets it to a windswept glitch track; ‘How To Address The Fog’ is a tale on the beach where the breeze and waves blur into one.
