Gone are the crate digging spoken word samples that peppered London experimental trio Moin’s previous albums. Having honed their craft together with the brilliant 2022 LP Paste, the band elevate their incredibly locked in synergetic performances on third album You Never End with even more abstract clips, and collaborators that sink right into their scuzzy, buzzing soundworld. Valentina Magaletti’s spick and span yet fervently ricocheting drums back the brooding nightshade fuzz from Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews, while sighted through the nettles of guitar is scintillating ambience, James K’s sweet yet eerie filtered vocals, and cathartically staccato poetry read by Sophia Al-Maria.
