Fresh off a series of illuminating Faust reissues, the Bureau B label continues their collaboration with the iconic German institution with this new LP featuring original Faust members Zappi Diermaier and Gunther Wusthoff among others. Some four decades on from their initial offerings and Diermaier and co. have lost little if any of their searing passion or taste for queasily industrial churn and burn. Cut as always after a series of expansive, searching jam sessions at home, raw recordings were then sent to a variety of collaborators who added audio damage, overdubs, and various other ephemera to the mix in an effort to achieve something fresh, new, and primal from one of Krautrock’s most essential combos.
