Delsin re-master and re-release ‘upekah’, a three track dub-techno EP originally released thirteen years ago by New Zealand producer son.sine. ‘Karuna’ offers the most hard-hitting experience on the record, with a pulsing techno kick which characterises son.sine’s sound, brought to the fore as if puncturing the hazy delayed chords which play off of it. ‘upekah’ and ‘mudita’ are more introverted, with gorgeous ambient washes of sine tones reminiscent of Polygon Window or Squarepusher, forming subtly nuanced relationships with an omnipresent sultry techno beat.
