Sébastien Devaud’s blend of French jazz and Detroit techno reaches dance floor conquering levels here: ‘The Scala’ is an insanely groovy eight-minute workout that fuses organs, synthesised strings and a shuffling 4/4 beat, while B-side ‘Kick the Peace (Part 2)’ takes a chunky analogue synth and wraps it in murky ambience.
