UK net label Bit-Phalanx have managed to get a whole album out of Jonathan Worsley. ‘Retreat to Sleep’ offers the biggest helping yet of his IDM skits: ‘Come In Spiders’ moves from feedback to a wondrous piano melody; ‘Giggleupz’ references pre-horror Xela with its children’s voices and gentle guitar; and ‘Fat Feet Away, Check for Bones Everyday’ is Yoko Ono set to a garage beat.
