Trust arch crate-digger Jonny Trunk to find something so completely unparalleled: a compilation of music recorded by school kids, and used to eerie effect in a string of ‘60s/’70s TV soundtracks. Housed in gorgeous artwork care of Ghost Box’s Julian House and complete with copies of the original record sleeves, ‘Classroom Projects’ merges live instrumentation, spoken word haikus and choral covers of pop songs to unsettling but hypnotizing effect.
