Tim Reaper and Kloke have hopped labels since 2021 with a series of very well received EPs. Now landing on Hyperdub, they make good on their impeccable synergy with the label’s first proper jungle album. It may come as some surprise that this is new ground for a decades old electronic label, but the grinning contortions of breakbeats and bass wobbling hardcore fun of this LP makes it feel right at home. Wildly energetic hand drums meet white rapids of drum breaks flitting to and fro in the tropical climate, glistening with dew and rave humidity.
