Following a string of international DJ and live shows, shadowy Scandinavian duo Skudge make a welcome return to their own self-titled label with a two track EP of chalky, funk-driven dub techno. 'Irie' contains their typical bouncy groove accompanied by a clanging synth pattern. B-side cut 'Faux' marks the duo’s most driving moment yet, propelling the track forward through a clap hi-hat combination and repetitive vocal sample drenched in effects.
